What to Do After You Miss a Workout
You missed a workout.
That happened.
The next decision still belongs to you.
One missed session does not need to become a missing week.
Find the Actual Reason
Was the time unrealistic? Did something unexpected happen? Were you unwell?
Name the reason without turning it into a judgment about who you are. Different problems need different responses.
Return to the Plan
Look at your next planned session. Decide whether to resume there or adjust the week within your program.
Do not automatically double the next workout as punishment. If you are following a coached plan, ask your coach how to rearrange it.
Fix One Point of Friction
If you forgot your kit, pack it earlier. If the same meeting keeps running late, choose a different training window.
You do not need an entirely new routine because Tuesday went wrong. You need a next step you can actually take.
Make the return smaller than the story you are telling yourself.
Final Thought
Write down your next training time.
Prepare what you need. Give yourself a clear way back.
Find Your Fire.
